Our Founder
Walter Chinchilla
With over 30 years of experience as a Close Protection Operator for political figures and dignitaries in the United States, Walter is the founder of PPSOG, a non-profit organization dedicated to professionalizing law enforcement and first aid services in Costa Rica. Since 2018, PPSOG has conducted training sessions for the Presidential Protection Team of Costa Rica, the Public Force, the UEA (Special Support Unit), the DIS (Intelligence and Security Directorate), the OIJ, and the GAO (Operational Support Groups) in tactics, operations, ethics, and emergency medical response. Walter is a frequent lecturer on national security topics on Alerta 8 by Multimedios in Costa Rica and is a native speaker of both English and Spanish. His personal mission is to use the valuable experience gained abroad to give back to his native country, Costa Rica.
